Answers to the questions schools ask most.
Pricing, scheduling, training materials, college credit, everything most schools want to know before requesting a quote.
How do I get started? Can I get a free cost quote?
Simply fill out our Request a quote form and you'll get a free, all-inclusive quote, usually back to you within 2 business hours. Or call directly at (559) 351-4546. No obligation, no sales follow-up unless you want one.
Can we have our training on a Saturday?
Absolutely. We can schedule on-site training on the date of your choice, including weekends, provided the trainer's calendar is open. Just let us know your preferred dates in your quote request.
Are CEUs or clock hours provided?
CEUs and clock hours are typically provided through your district. We supply attendance documentation and training summaries that your district can use to award credit through its own approval process.
Is college credit available?
Yes. Up to four graduate-level semester credits are available through University of Massachusetts Global, accredited by the WASC Senior College and University Commission. Additional requirements and fees apply.
Are training materials included?
Yes. Unlike most on-site training sponsors, we provide a professionally printed comprehensive resource handbook for every participant, included in the standard pricing. There are also supplemental materials available to extend the training if you'd like to add them.
What if our school doesn't have a full day available for training?
The training format is flexible. We can work with you to develop a plan that meets your campus needs, which means breaking the training into smaller blocks across multiple days or sessions if that works better for your calendar.
How long is each on-site training session?
Each on-site training session includes approximately 5 instructional hours, plus breaks, typically structured as 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM with a one-hour lunch. Length can be adjusted to fit your campus schedule.
What is the 2+1 Leadership Model?
Two days with your leadership team, then one day with the full staff. On Day 1 the leadership team learns the system. On Day 2 they build your school's own plan with Dr. Alvarado: the school-wide Teach-To list, the refocus area and form, the behavior flow chart, and how the data will be tracked. On Day 3 the whole staff is trained and your team hands them the plan. The days do not have to be back to back.
Can our own staff be certified to train?
Yes. Dr. Alvarado certifies up to 20 of your own educators as Time To Teach trainers over two to three full days on your campus. For two years they train your staff on your schedule, with a training portal, rubrics, and the Time To Teach team a phone call away. They recertify every two years.
Who is the instructor for our training?
Dr. Johnny Alvarado delivers every training himself, on site across the United States and at live seminars. You can read about his thirty years in Central Valley schools on the About page.
How much is the training?
We provide a series of training options to best meet the needs of your campus, pricing varies based on number of attendees, training program(s) selected, location, and scheduling. Request a free quote and you'll receive transparent pricing with options, typically within 2 business hours.
